What counts as "Instagram activity", and what we can't see

Instagram activity means three specific actions of the tracked Instagram account: the posts and reels it likes, the accounts it follows, and the accounts it unfollows.

Some people searching for "Instagram activity" mean something else: the green dot or "Active 5m ago" status. That is online status, and we do not track it. Nobody outside Instagram can see it reliably.

We also don't track comments, direct messages, story views or any actions of private accounts.
