What this Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy covers how we treat Personal Data that we gather when you access or use our Services. "Personal Data" means any information that identifies or relates to a particular individual and also includes information referred to as "personally identifiable information" or "personal information" under applicable data privacy laws, rules or regulations. This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of companies we don't own or control (such as social media data providers or third-party agencies, organizations or companies). We may collect Personal Data about you from: (1) You — when you provide information directly to us, when Personal Data is automatically collected in connection with use of our Services (usage information, cookies, account information, search history, submissions and uploads, manually imported contact information, login credentials); (2) Third Parties — Service Providers, social networks analyzed to the Services, third-party data sources. Social media users who do not want their data processed by Snoopreport can make their account or posts private or, to the extent applicable, remove Snoopreport and its representatives from their followers.

How We Use Your Personal Data

Under data protection laws, we can only use your Personal Data if we have a proper reason for doing so (e.g. to comply with legal obligations; for performance of an agreement; for our legitimate interests; where you have given consent). We use your Personal Data for: Providing, Customizing and Improving the Services; Marketing and Selling the Services; Corresponding with You; Meeting Legal Requirements and Enforcing Legal Terms. We will not collect additional categories of Personal Data or use the Personal Data we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

How We Share Your Personal Data

We disclose your Personal Data to: Service Providers (third parties acting on our behalf that help us provide and market our Services); Users of Services (we may share publicly-available social media information with other users of our Services directly or through our resellers or business partners; we do not verify and cannot guarantee the accuracy of Public Information; personal information that you provide to Snoopreport is not part of the Public Information available to other users); Legal Obligations (we may share Personal Data with relevant third parties as set forth under "Meeting Legal Requirements and Enforcing Legal Terms"; we may be required to release information upon court order or as otherwise required by law; contact legal@snoopreport.com with questions); Business Transfers (all Personal Data may be transferred to a third party if we undergo a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other transaction in which that third party assumes control of our business). We do not send consumer information outside of the United States for any purpose other than to deliver a report to an end user.

Tracking Tools, Advertising, and Opt-Out

The Services use cookies and similar technologies. The information we collect automatically may include your IP address, device type, unique device identification numbers, browser-type, broad geographic location, third party web pages accessed via the Service and other technical information. We use: strictly necessary cookies; performance cookies; functionality cookies; targeting cookies; social media cookies; anonymized analytical cookies. Data Security and Retention

We seek to protect your Personal Data using appropriate physical, technical, organizational and administrative security measures. We store information in secure databases in the U.S. We use TLS to encrypt Personal Data you provide. You should help protect your data by protecting your password and limiting access to your device. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure. Snoopreport maintains multiple security measures (limited access, secure terminals and network, encrypted backups, user name and password for internet access, records of each request, employee restrictions). We retain Personal Data for as long as you have an open account or as necessary to provide the Services or fulfill the purposes in this Policy; we may retain longer to comply with legal obligations or in anonymous/aggregated form.

Personal Data of Children

Our site is directed to people who are at least 18 years old. Snoopreport does not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18. If you are aware that Snoopreport has collected Personal Data from someone under 18, please alert Snoopreport at privacy@snoopreport.com and the information will be removed as soon as is reasonably possible.

Snoopreport does not knowingly aggregate or provide Public Information about people under 18. Snoopreport's search may return Public Information about children between 13 and 18 from third-party sites that permit such profiles. To remove a listing including information about a person under 18, please contact us at privacy@snoopreport.com.

Removal of Your Personal Data

To request that Public Information about you be removed from public listings on snoopreport.com, please contact us at privacy@snoopreport.com. Snoopreport reserves the right to disclose or transfer Public Information as required by law or to a successor-in-interest, and to deny or reverse a request if Snoopreport believes the request does not comply with its Terms of Use or other policies.

California Resident Rights Under the CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have rights to request certain information about our collection and use of your Personal Data over the past 12 months (Access), and to request deletion of your Personal Data subject to certain exceptions (Deletion). To exercise these rights, send a Valid Request to privacy@snoopreport.com with "CA Shine the Light" in the subject line; include your full name, date of birth, last four digits of SSN, email address, street address, city, state and zip code. We will respond within 60 days. To request removal of Public Information from public listings, contact us at privacy@snoopreport.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. You can opt out of the sale of your Personal Data by clicking "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" at the bottom of our website and changing your Cookie preferences. We do not sell the Personal Data of minors under 18.

Other State Law Privacy Rights

Nevada: You have the right to opt-out of the sale of certain Personal Data. Contact privacy@snoopreport.com with subject "Nevada Do Not Sell Request" and your name and email. We do not currently sell your Personal Data as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. Colorado, Connecticut or Virginia: You have the right to appeal a decision denying your privacy request. Contact Snoopreport at privacy@snoopreport.com with the state you are writing from. If your appeal is denied, your jurisdiction may allow you to file a complaint with your state Attorney General's Office (Colorado: coag.gov/file-complaint/; Connecticut: portal.ct.gov/AG/Common/Complaint-Form-Landing-page; Virginia: oag.state.va.us/consumer-protection/index.php/file-a-complaint).

Privacy Act Systems of Records

When Snoopreport operates a system of records subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 or comparable U.S. government agency regulations, our use and disclosure of that information is subject to the applicable Systems of Records Notice and agency regulations. Snoopreport employees who handle Privacy Act Information are required to undergo initial and annual Privacy Act training. Snoopreport prohibits any unauthorized use or disclosure of Privacy Act Information. Report suspected breaches using the contact information at the end of this Privacy Policy.

Use of Personal Data by Third Parties

This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of Personal Data by any third parties that you submit your information to or who provide your information to us. We aren't responsible for any third parties' privacy policies and/or practices.

Prohibited Jurisdictions

Snoopreport does not offer services to, and expressly prohibits use by, residents of the State of Illinois (U.S.A.), the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom and Russia. If you are a resident of Illinois, the EU, EEA, UK or Russia: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. If you have already created an account, you must immediately cease use, unsubscribe, and delete your account. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data of residents from these jurisdictions. If you believe we have inadvertently collected your personal data and you are a resident of these jurisdictions, please contact us at privacy@snoopreport.com with verification of your residency, and we will promptly delete such data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will alert you by placing a notice on snoopreport.com, by email and/or other means. If you use the Services after changes are posted, you agree to the changes. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected.
